X-Ray Services

X-rays are a safe and painless way to image bones and other structures in your body

What is an x-ray

During an x-ray procedure, you will be gently positioned on a bed or asked to sit/stand in front of an x-ray detector. The x-ray machine sends invisible x-rays through the body, which are absorbed differently by different tissues based on their density. This creates an x-ray image, which can then be used by a radiologist or other medical professionals to diagnose a variety of medical conditions, such as broken bones, lung infections, or other potential problems. The entire procedure usually takes only a few minutes and is totally painless for the patient.
